modelismonaval.com came into being in the year 1999, carrying on the work done in Internet since 1996 with our old page MNY, which we had gradually turned into the first gateway for naval models with a new structure, and which has been backed up by your visits (statistics) thanks to constant growth. Created and developed by Joaquín Yarza, its founding changes on the one hand the relationship between many naval modelers and breaks with the traditional isolation of the enthusiasts who can get information, make contact and compare their work with that of others'; on the other hand, the professional workers in the sector have at last a medium in which they can develop their activities of promotion and sales of their products, being able to get in touch with the entire community of modelers and enthusiasts not only at a local level, but also widening their horizons to unforeseen levels for the development of our activity. We have 4 basic areas for the development of this project. First there is the Model Ship Directory, with more than 1500 links to pages all over the world with which one can easily get access to the most interesting pages, which are being constantly brought up to date.
An area which is structured as the magazine MN Magazine On Line in which we give information about the latest news, new products, reports of exhibitions and events, as well as the documentation which is necessary in order for all the modelers and enthusiasts to be able to carry out their projects more easily.
A services area which meets the demand for information, exchange, technical consultations and the social development of our community of modelers, and which answers all needs with the forum, specialized chat, notice boards, the model gallery, the life of the clubs and a lot more things which are in this section.
A professional area, to cover the needs of the professionals in the sector, either through publicity or banner promotion, or the design of web pages or hostings, so that using Internet is profitable and makes one's web page or products stand out amongst the millions of pages which lie dormant in the immensity of the web, and which in practice go unvisited.
