First International Ship Modelling Meeting in Lloret de Mar 

The First International Ship Modelling Meeting took place in Lloret de Mar (Girona - Spain) at the recently inaugurated water plane, which is suitable for R/C sailing. The attendance of participants was considerable and the audience had the chance to enjoy the evolutions of radiocontrolled model boats.

The organisation hired a music band and scheduled a meal and several tourist visits planned for the satisfaction of both modelling enthusiasts and the friends or relatives coming with them.

As you can see, there was a great variety of models, including fishing vessels, towboats, water tenders, sailing ships and warships that sailed in the recently inaugurated water plane.

We really hope that future meetings will increase the number of R/C ship modelling in this area.
