Concentration in Fuenlabrada (Spain) 2001
 A
RC scale boat concentration took place in Fuenlabrada (Madrid, Spain), thanks to
the kind organisation of RC Naval Club in Fuenlabrada and the RC Naval Club in
Madrid. This meeting also counted on the participation of some other clubs, such
as the Jabega ship-modelling club from Málaga.
 A
good number of modelling enthusiasts got involved and the audience enjoyed all
the exhibitions performed using navigable scale models.
Thanks
to the hard work of ship modelling enthusiasts we had the chance to see old and
modern times reunited.
Warships
and tugs are constantly included in this kind of event.
As
a demonstration of how powerful these models can be, a loaded zodiac is tugged
by a scale model. Generally speaking, there were more boats built from plans
than assemblage kits, which is, in our opinion, a very good sign for the
evolution of ship modelling
